EDUCATION INITIATIVES SUB-COMMITTEE

Our mission is to enhance educational practices in the global fashion technology sector, ensuring our members lead in innovation and excellence with a focus on emergent practices. We strive to promote and share best practices worldwide.

Our initiatives focus on fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among members, with a keen eye on adapting to changing times. Some of our key initiatives include:

  • Organizing online workshops leading up to the conference, aimed at enriching participants’ experience and preparing them for engaging discussions.
  • Providing support to authors in crafting comprehensive papers and workshops on pedagogies and innovative methods of teaching and emerging teaching practices ensuring their contributions are impactful and aligned with conference themes.
  • Facilitating participation of faculty members from member institutions in the Education Committee, allowing them to contribute their expertise and insights.
  • Exploring new avenues for disseminating knowledge and best practices, including sharing online platforms and resources on the website and in the newsletter to benefit all members.
  • The IFFTI Exchange Initiative, a platform for fostering international collaboration and knowledge sharing among member institutions.

We are committed to driving positive change and innovation in fashion education, and we invite expressions of interest from IFFTI Member Institution faculty eager to contribute to our mission.
